What is a Necrology

A Necrology is a listing of deaths. Our Necrology contains names of deceased family members, their date of death, and the relative of the person who submitted the name to us. We use this list to pray for the deceased loved one on the anniversary of death.

How do I add a name to the Necrology?

Once a year we open the name submission process for parishioners to add their loved ones (parents, siblings, children) to the necrology.

Additions to the Necrology will open up again in the Fall of 2022.

The information you have in the Necrology is wrong. How do I update it?

If you would like to make any changes to the Necrology, you can do so during the open submission time.

Who can submit names to the St. Joseph Parish Necrology?

Regrettably, owing to the size and the beauty of the project, we only accept requests from registered parishioners. (N.B. – This does not mean your loved ones have to have been parishioners – just that the requester is a parishioner.)
